Every year, Google celebrates my birthday. It really is flattering. I mean, shucks, I'm only one person.
Will has today and tomorrow off, and we're going to paint the town. Well, maybe not the town but possibly a wall or two. And we're going to Market Street Grill for lunch. Mmmmmm.
Tomorrow is our first annual "Mommy-Jacey Day" and I am really excited about it. I asked Jacey what she wanted to do and it went something like this:
Me: Jacey, what do you want to do on our Mommy-Jacey day?
J: Um . . . go to the park?
Me: Okay, what else
J: Um . . . play Candyland?
Me: Okay, what else? We have a WHOLE day.
J: Um . . . play Sorry?
Me: Okay. Anything else besides playing games?
J: Um . . . maybe we should get dressed, too. And brush our teeth.So she hasn't been a ton of help planning this day, but I think we can manage to come up with some fun things. We had Daddy-Jacey Day last December when Will took his paternity leave. We meant to have both days during that time, but somehow Mommy-Jacey Day has been put off for quite a while. So I'm excited that we're finally going to have our day! Pictures will be taken and subsequently posted. Because I know my die-hard blog readers will both be anxious to know how it went.

Dangit, google beat me to it. I really did remember even before I got onto your blog. I had actually just finished sending you an e-card. That is so nice that Will has the day off! I can't imagine Tom ever taking the day off for my birthday since it's in March and that's such a busy time of year. Even if it wasn't busy he probably still wouldn't take the time off though. Have fun today and on Mommy-Jacey day. That really is sweet, and yes, remember to brush your teeth.
