Blink.

Guess who's having a birthday this week?

If you guessed Jacey, then . . . well, you're not very bright. Because the picture is of Londyn, and the intent there was to kind of to, you know, answer the question with a picture. Anyway. That's right friends, Londyn is one year old. My little newborn babe that we just brought home from the hospital yesterday. Did I blink and miss a whole year?? She's getting to be an old pro at walking. I even saw her bend down to pick something up off the floor tonight without falling. She calls me Mama. (Of course she also calls Will, Jacey, Marie and Grandma "Mama", but that's beside the point. I'm sure she's just asking them where I am.)

In other news . . . .

My poor cougars. Oh, the "could have beens" I could sing. BUT - I am excited for the rest of the season. They looked good.

Had a fun weekend with my folks here. Will went to UCLA for the game. Lots of driving, but he said he had fun. We didn't really do much around here, but it's just fun to be together. Dad put a new shelf up in our coat closet, which I've been wanting since we moved in 2 1/2 years ago. So that is nice to have done. We had fun hearing about Mom and Dad's trip to Alaska. I'll be waiting to see the scrapbook, Mom. ;)

A funny Jacey story from last week: Jacey usually comes into our room in the morning and goes back to sleep in our bed for another half hour or so. Will is usually already up and she just comes in and lays down in his spot. I don't usually notice that she's even there. Well on Sunday morning I slowly emerged into conciousness and thought I heard singing. I looked over and there is Jacey, lying next to me staring at the ceiling, singing softly, "On top of spaghetti, all covered with cheese. I lost my poor meatball, when somebody sneezed." I don't know why, but I found it the most amusing thing in the world to wake up to.

I can't believe that it's been a year either! She's walking?! Crazy! I'm so excited that you're blogging. It makes me happy. That Jacey singing story is so funny. She sounds like such a little crack up!

Me again. So I was just looking through all your photo albums. Do you take pictures for other people...for money? You really should. You are a REALLY talented photographer.
