C is for . . .

Mr. Caterpillar. This little guy followed Jacey home from preschool yesterday. She is loving preschool. She always wants to know before she goes what they're going to learn about today. And since I only teach once a month, I don't usually have an answer for her. So she was very excited yesterday when I picked her up and she could tell me that they learned about "capatillers". The other little girls (there are 3 others) are sweet and cute and I'm glad that she's having fun and making some friends. The other moms all want to do it twice a week, which I wasn't really keen on, but Jacey is having so much fun with it maybe I ought to. We'll see.

A few other random things to share:

We went to Macey's the other night to get some food storage stuff while their case lot sale was going on. They have these annoying carts that have race car seats and steering wheels on them. Jacey always begs to use them and I always say no. They are a pain in the rear to try and maneuver through the store. Well, of course when Daddy goes shopping with us, not only do they get to ride in the race car cart, but they didn't even have to ask. It was his cart of choice. I didn't think Londyn would be that into it, but I was wrong. She dug it.

This girl's hair. I don't know what to do with it. We got the cradle cap off her scalp but she had super oily hair yesterday as a result. It seems to be back to normal after her bath today. This is how she woke up from her nap yesterday. I'm not sure if the picture really captures the full mohawk effect that was going on.

And finally, I wanted to show mom how super cute Londyn looks in the outfit she gave her for her birthday. She wouldn't hold still for more than a millisecond, so this was the best I could do. You get the idea. And yes, she is playing with a toothbrush and mixing beater. No, I don't know why we bother buying toys.

Just for the record, lest you think Jacey's photographical representation has been slighted today, she wasn't exactly cooperative this morning. One second she was crying because I wasn't taking her picture, and the next second she was pouting because I was taking her picture.

Fickle girl. I thought Londyn was at the hardest age to photograph. I forgot that once they learn to hold still, they also learn ATTITUDE.
