Carrying on our tradition, Marie and I have been taking our kids on little field trips throughout the summer. This year has been even more fun because my mom has come along for several of our outings too.
We went up AF canyon to catch bugs (including Jacey Bugs, apparently). And also to roast hot-dogs and s'mores, of course.
Our next outing was to This Is The Place and apparently I didn't take my camera on that trip. Either that or I didn't get it out of the bag. It was raining that day but the kids still had fun. They loved Brigham Young's pink farm house. And the free ice-cream cones.
We went to the Hutchings Museum Lehi Round-Up Days. We saw a magic show that the kids were pretty enthralled with. I love the look on Jacey's face in this pic as she's watching a trick.
Another one I must not have taken my camera to - story time at the library and a picnic lunch at Wines Park in Lehi. Simple and relaxing and the kids loved it.
We went to the Utah Museum of Natural History and checked out the "Toadally Frogs" exibit. The kids loved this place and probably would have stayed much longer than we let them. It was a free day and it was jam packed - I had such a headache when we left but the kids didn't seem to mind the crowds or the noise.
The kids really look forward to these outings and so far we've been able to hit everything on a free day so we haven't paid a dime for any of them. Except for lunch in the canyon. We still have a few more field trips on the calendar, but back-to-school is sneaking closer and closer. Jacey is excited for that but I wouldn't mind if we carried on with summer for a while longer still.

wow, what a fun summer. Caitlin only has one more week until school starts. sniff, sniff! I can't believe that she will be in kindergarten. crazy.
Seriously just adopt me and my kids k! You guys always do the best things! So fun! I would appreciate it though if you don't tell your kids what mine are doing cause I don't want them to get jealous, mine get to watch me unpack boxes and organize all day long, so there! :) LOL :) LOVE the pictures as always!! :)
Looks like you are having a ton of fun with the girls this summer. They are so darling. Rob asked me to see if you could get Will to call him back! Want to get together some time?

All for free? That's great! I need to be better at getting my kids out. Rebecca has the same shirt as Londyn - pink with the big button. I love Target.
