Summer Field Trips

So Marie mentioned that we're taking little field trips with the kiddos this summer.  So far we have been to the Aquarium, Wheeler Farm, and yesterday we went to the BYU sports "museum" in the new Student Athlete Building.  The kids were only mildly interested in the displays, but I think they still had a good time.  We had lunch afterwards in the Cougareat and got an ice cream cone for dessert, so how could they complain?  Being on campus makes me nostalgic.  Especially in the summertime.  Sigh.

I love that their warm-ups say "Mormons".  I didn't even look to see what year that picture was from, but I'm guessing 1950s?

Ah, Lavell.  There is a special place in my heart for you.

They have these wavy little benches which apparently are fun to pull yourself across on your belly.  Jacey and Natalyn spent most of their time doing just that.

And to end with, a picture of Blake.  Just because I really like it.

Cynthia, I knew if I snooped around long enough on the right blogs I could find yours! Stalking pays off and I found it!! You take the most adorable pictures...I need to find out what kind of camera you have. Amazing!

Whenever I pass BYU on my way up to Salt Lake, it makes me nostalgic and also sad. I really enjoyed being at BYU, and I would love to go back to get a higher degree or just to take a few classes, but I know it will probably never happen. Also, once I went to a Sunday night meeting for our student stake at the Smith field house. We got there pretty early, and I opened the door to Levell Edwards leaving the building. It was so cool.

I love your pictures! You have serious talent. Hey, how is Londyn? I heard about your little scare.

It sounds like you all had a great time in Jackson! What fun- hiking, rafting, water skiing! Sorry to hear about Londyn- major FREAKOUT moment. Glad to hear that she is doing better though! SCARY!!

My sisters and I have also decided to do little summer field trips with the kids, but have yet to get started. Those benches do look pretty entertaining- I think that I might have to give them a try!;)

That would be so much fun to have your sister live so close by. Your kids will probably grow up to be so close.

And I'm loving your new header. I need you to help me design one sometime. Seriously.

Fun summer field trips. I've been thinking of heading down to Provo to go to the Pioneer Park or to the Bean Museum, I would never have tought to stop by the Smith field house, Travis would definately want to do it for family night though.
I'm feeling okay, heart-burn is horrible. I don't sleep much and I still have three months to go. At least I'm not throwing up and so all is well . . .
