Intense.

I'm pretty sure this was the day after Easter, because we haven't done her big country hair since then. Yes, she is always this serious when she colors. No, she isn't always wearing a princess gown, but occasionally. Coloring is a big pastime for her right now. She loves to have Will or me color with her, although she has informed me that daddy is a better at it than I am. (I didn't argue - he is.) Right now we have about an hour or so alone together most days after her nap, before Londyn wakes up. It's technically still "quiet time", so we spend our time coloring or reading books or playing with dolls.

I'm realizing just how quickly her years at home all day with me are going to end. I've signed her up for preschool next year which means she will be gone 3 mornings every week. Then comes Kindergarten, and next thing I know she will be at school all day and I am having a hard time even thinking about that right now as I type it. The only good thing I can see about preschool next year (for me) is the one-on-one time with Londyn. I don't have much alone time with her.

However, this coming Saturday is Daddy-Jacey Day & Mommy-Londyn Day. I'm excited! Londyn's biggest love right now is being outside, so hopefully it will be nice enough to go to the park. Other than that I don't have plans set. But Will and Jacey have big plans. She wants to go to Kangaroo Zoo, go roller skating, eat lunch at a resturant, see a movie with popcorn, go miniature golfing, and go swimming. How they plan to pack that all into 12 hours is beyond me. But more power to them. I'll have to find my old camera so we'll have some pictures of their day.

What I love the most about this picture is her hands. I love that she doesn't have bony knuckles yet. She still has softy squishy little kid hands.

What a good mommy! I have to tell ya, school all day is hard. Ty has to leave to make the bus around 8:35 and we do not see him again until 3:45. I am looking forward to Spring Break next week!!
Have fun on your date this weekend.

I love the big country hair. Did you get that dress-up at Costco? It looks just like one of the ones we got for Rebecca. Enjoy your date days. Your right -

She is so adorable!! That is how Makayla used to color. She was always the last one finished with everything, so now she just scribbles it done. Enjoy it while it lasts. Oh, and have fun on your special day!

Cynthia I think you are so cool. I wish we were closer so I could learn from you. I loved living with your mom for a little while. I continually thought, I want to be like her, I want to be a mother like her, I want to learn from here. That means you learned from the best and I am sure you are a lot like her.

I havent spent hardly and time with my kiddos, I had vinyl, then moving then getting the house ready to sell and now I am into a habit of doing other things. Yuck! Thanks for the post and realizing that I want to get out of the habit and back to me time with them! You guys rock can we please plan something...atleast this summer. I would like to go and see your mom and dad maybe we can do something there. Or sometime maybe we can all do thanksgiving there. Throwing out ideas, help me out here! We can go on your family vacations...something! :)

Well she is so lucky to have such long, beautiful locks that she GETS to have big, country hair! Love that term! I love all your pictures too. So beautiful.

Cynthia- this morning I'm running though everyons blogs and my Bradley is checking them out with me. As soon as yours pops up he says "She beautiful!" In the sweetest most sincere voice. Then he asked if she was a princess. Both of your girls are so lovely and are little princesses!
