Seriously? You're telling me that I can add all the blogs I read into Google Reader and it will tell me when there are new blog posts? No more clicking through my bookmarks looking for updated blogs? Seriously?? Why did nobody enlighten me before??? All the wasted years!! Okay, maybe not years, but minutes certainly. The only down side is that you can't add blogs that are password protected. But most of the blogs I read aren't, so that's really not a big deal. And the best part is that I can add it to my iGoogle homepage, which has become something of my Command Central. Oh Google, my affection for you grows with each passing day. You with your simplified home page and relevant text-only adds. And for whatever reason, you have evidently chosen me as the object of your returned affection. We are a match made in heaven, and my devotion to you will never waver.

Am I the last person in the world to discover this?

My sister-in-law just told me about that over Christmas. I love it! It definitely saves a lot of time! Well, I still waste too much time, but it's nice not having to check everybody's blog every 2 seconds. Yeah for Google!
I'm sensing a serious love connection here.
I check mine several times a day... so much better than clicking on each and every blog. Saves precious time! ;)
That is news to me also. I am also one of those that click through my whole list of blogs to see which ones have been updated. I'm going to have to check this thing out. BTW, I always meant to ask you, why does google celebrate your birthday?
Patti - I assumed it was because I was such a devoted Google customer. Are you telling me that's not the reason? :) Actually, it's Google's birthday too. The years are slightly off, but it still makes me feel special. :)
Funny, I thought when you did that "google birthday" thing it was actually them sending you something for your birthday too. That's pretty cool.
You've inspired me to send a shout-out to Google Reader on my blog too. So I will soon be copying your post idea. Do you love how I'm not asking, but telling you? I'm kind of obnoxious that way.
I did not know about this...thank you tons! This will make my life so much easier!
A girl in my ward taught me how to do this. I need to go in and figure it out.
Sorry, I should have let everyone in on my little secret! ;) Glad you found out about it!
