Home from the hospital.
The sisters approve. (Jacey got her first experience with Calvin filling his diaper as she held him. She was pretty grossed out, but she laughed.)
Today was Jacey's first day of 1st Grade. She came home tired but excited. Her Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Arnold, moved up to 1st grade and is team-teaching Jacey's class. Jacey was jumping around the room when she got that news. She adores Mrs. Arnold, and she's pretty excited about her other teacher, Mrs. Meecham, as well.
Tomorrow Londyn and I will go meet with her preschool teacher, Miss Dawn, and then she'll start preschool next week. So life is marching on, ready or not. Calvin has been a pretty good baby so far. He wants to be held, but other than that he's pretty good natured. He had a pretty good night last night, going to bed at about 11:00 and only waking up once at 3:30 to eat. Then he woke up for the day at about 7:30. Really can't ask for much better at 8 days old! If only the swelling in my feet would go down, I think we'd be doing great!

So cute! I'm so impressed that your life is just going on like normal. I kind of always think everybody's world stops for a bit when they have a baby. I guess that doesn't happen when you two older kiddos though. And what a great sleeper! That is fabulous!
