Up the canyon

DSC_7210

This is our 4th fall living in Lehi, and would you believe that last night was the first time we have ever gone on a Fall Family Outing up AF canyon?  I don't know why it took us so long.  Marie & Co. invited us to join them for FHE.  We took foil dinners and cooked them in the fire, then roasted s'mores.  I had forgotten how much I like foil dinners & s'mores.

<--- By the time we left, this little girl was covered in marshmallow.  Especially in her hair.  But aside from that, and aside from the fact that we didn't smell very pretty when we got home, we had a great time.  Jacey even said this morning that she wants to go do that again soon.  Which I think is a great idea!

Fall? What's Fall? Those of us in Vegas don't know about such things. I have also heard of what is called "Spring" but have yet to know of it's splendor as well. :) hee hee

That is one of our favorite outings too, but we didn't get there this year. Looks like a fun night!

Girl, I got you beat..in a bad way. We've been in Utah for over 8 years and I had never been to AF Canyon until last month! Pathetic, I know...maybe it's because it's so far away...a mere 5 miles...:) Beautiful pictures...are you getting sick of me saying that?

Cynthia-I just read your blog for the first time and had no idea you were into photography. In fact I was looking at your photos first and wondered how you get them so vibrant. They look amazing! Then I read that you're into photog. Do you have a super-cool camera or could any of us idiots get color like that? Call me- Tori.

I miss Utah in the fall. It is beautiful. We're still getting into the nineties down here. And then all of a sudden it will get cold. Marylin is totally right.
