We had a fun weekend!
Londyn's birthday was on Friday, and she was basking in the spotlight all day long. I don't remember Jacey really getting into her birthday when she turned two, but Londyn absolutely knew that the day was about her. Early that morning after having a success on the potty (we've been using candy corn as a potty-bribe), she said to me "Can I get a candy? It's my birthday!"
We had dinner at the park by our house with the whole crew - both Robins' and Davises, missing only Bryan & Alex who happen to live a thousand miles away. We missed you guys! We had a fun time and the weather was absolutely perfect. The only downer was the mosquitos that came out right as we were finishing cake & ice cream. They pretty much drove us out.
On Saturday we went to our Stake Olympics. It was a really fun activity! We didn't join in the 5K, but who knows . . . maybe next year. They're planning on doing this on an annual basis and I think it's a great idea. Again, the weather was just beautiful. Perhaps a little cool for those in the dunk tank, but for those of us who stayed dry it was perfect. I was pretty bummed that we had to leave before Bishop Sharp got in the dunk tank. I really wanted those pictures. :)
(Will is going to kill me for posting this picture)
Then on Sunday after church we went up to Glen & Liz's. Another beautiful evening. (Have I mentioned that I like September?) After a yummy dinner we had angel food cake with fresh peaches and whipped cream (or "whoop cream" as Jacey calls is) for dessert. What a way to cap off a weekend! Yum!

Happy Birthday to Londyn!!
Stake Olympics sounds incredibly fun- I'm going to have to mention that one to our wards activity committee
Beautiful pictures, Cynthia!! Londyn is beautiful and I love the dimple in her chin!
Happy Birthday Londyn! Wow, is she really already 3?
I am laughing pretty hard at Will hula hooping! Totally great!
Happy Birthday to your little cute lady! That looks like quite the partay! How fun for you to have so much family there too. Jealous. By the way, I was in Vegas last week and driving by your house made me sad.
Oh, and I'm seeing a little pattern with our girls. I've seen multiple pictures on here with Londyn wearing the same shirts Reese has (like the one in these pictures). They might end up following in their mothers' footsteps and show up to high school wearing the same shirt at least once a week.
How fun to have all (or most, I should say) of your family there to celebrate Londyn's birthday. I know you are loving it.
I love looking at your blog...your pictures are always so beautiful...You will have to teach me how to take such photos. Anyway, I can't believe Londyn is already 3! And Will...I didn't realize he was so talented!
