1. Londyn is talking. She hit that little "verbal explosion" and surprises me everyday with new words. And sentences. She tells me things like "I'm helping" and "I brought you this" and "I wanna go Grandpa". (All grandparents are now "Grandpa".) She's also started with "I'm poopy." Lovely.
2. We cleaned the basement on Saturday. As in, opened every box and went through it, hauled half of the basement to DI. So pretty much all that's left in the basement is a Christmas tree, a couple of boxes of baby clothes, and 30-40 boxes of Will's high school and mission memorabilia.
3. Jacey had a big day yesterday. She loves it. And I think it's dang cute. Will came home and gushed over it, which makes her love it even more. She's going to donate her braid to Locks of Love. The girls at the haircut place were passing around her braid saying "Feel that braid - it's crazy!" She does have some crazy texture in her hair.
4. I took some pictures for friends last week, two different families. I won't post them here, mostly because I didn't ask them if I could, but I can tell you that I learned one very valuable thing from these experiences: I am not qualified to be talking pictures for other people. BUT, I want to be. And I know that the best way to do that is to keep doing it. So that's the plan.
5. The power went out last week, and Will still hasn't reset his clock on his nightstand. I usually do it, because I want it to be synced with mine (I can't stand it when 2 clocks in the same room say different times) but I decided to wait and see if he would ever do it, and how long it would take. Going on 8 days now.
6. We brought the little potty chair upstairs last week, and Londyn is obsessed with it. So far she has gone wet in it once, and on the carpet three times. We're not really trying to potty train or anything, she just really likes to be like Jacey. So we thought we'd let her get used to the idea for now.
7. Heading to Jackson Hole this weekend for DFV. I'm dang excited. What can I say - I just dig my family.
8. I have no idea what to do for Father's Day for Will.
9. Now that Nathan is home, I have no point of reference for the girl's scrapbooks. I used to be able to go back through my emails to Nate and figure out what we did and when we did it. I need a new method. The blog only works when I actually update it.
10. Occasionally, and without warning, Jacey says to me "That hypothesis is preposterous."
11. Londyn talks out of the side of her mouth a lot. She also smiles out of just one side a lot. I don't know why, or when it started. (Do you like her wings in this picture? I guess her hair isn't quite long enough to pull up.)
12. One more picture of Londyn, just for good measure.
13. That's all I've got.

I have lots to say about this post. I'm glad you got your basement cleaned out. We just did that Monday with our "clutter room". I wish they did basements in Las Vegas. I would LOVE to have one.
Jacey's haircut is so cute. What a sweet girl to donate her beautiful hair to those who need it.
"The hypothesis is preposterous"? Where does that come from?
My kids just saw Jacey's picture and said, "Who IS that?" We are coming over. It is PREPOSTEROUS that we're seeing Jacey's haircut via your blog when we live one block away. :)
So much to say, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to forget it all. Let's see...first, I can't believe how well Londyn is talking. Sentences? Wow. 2) the 30-40 boxes of memorabilia (sp?) sounds EXACTLY like Tom. Argh. 3) Jacey's hair! Darling! Those Davis girls know how to grow some gorgeous locks. 4) Totally laughed out loud about the not setting the clock thing. Hilarious. I've tried the whole let's see how long it takes him thing before and then I always cave in. Be strong! :) Loved this post.
I LOVE Jacey's hair!
Jacey's hair is adorable. Your girls are dang cute!! Do you want to come and do my basement? It is atrocious!
Just for the record, I haven't fixed the clock because I don't care. I have a watch that tells me the time. In addition, I am not resetting it because I figured Cynthia would do it if it bothers her too much. Why do we even have two alarm clocks in our bedroom? I am the only one who gets up in the morning. And finally, we actually have three clocks in our room, and one is hanging on the wall and has been reading 8:40 for the last year and no one has done anything about it. I don't even know why it is up there.
I love Will's comment, sounds so much like Travis (we really need to get together)!
Jacey is a hoot, where did she come up with things like hypothesis and so on? Um, oh, that would probably come from you, huh?
We have about that many boxes of Travis mission stuff and I would be more bitter but then again there is my huge box of stuff from Nauvoo, Hawaii, and Europe. I really do not want to move it all back into the basement from the garage, so I will have to go through it one of these days. Until then we just aren't parking in the garage. That and all the misc. cabinets Travis has started storing in the garage, lucky me.
I think the pictures of your girls are great. I'm guessing the pictures of your friends are as well. After all aren't we always our worst critic? If you feel like you need more practice, we are just a few doors down;)!!
"That hypothesis is preposterous!" Got to love that!
Her hair cut is seriously cute. Jaden wants to get her hair cut short- I've been thinking about letting her-it just takes FOREVER to grow back out.
How old is Londyn again? She looks so little to be talking like such a big girl! Good job with the whole potty bit!
My Dad is working on a job at Teton Village on the main lift. Did you guys have fun? Its so beautiful there!
