October 16th? Are you kidding me?

What happened to the first 15 days? How did I miss them? I guess when you're on vacation, time flies. We had such a good time in Vegas with my folks. We didn't plan on doing a ton, just hanging out and spending time together. Will did a little woodturning, I did a lot of nothing. We got a healthy start on our Christmas shopping. I got to visit with Rachel, who I don't get to see nearly enough. The girls got spoiled rotten with crafts and candy and attention from Grandma and Grandpa.

We had a little Halloween party on Friday night once Bryan & Alex and Marie & Ky (et al) got there. I must say that Jacey and Londyn were quite the cuties in their costumes. Jacey's is slightly risqué, but I guess that's my fault for trying to stretch another year out of her costume.

We went to the BYU/UNLV game on Saturday night. It was fun to see the red stadium full of blue. We may make another trip to that stadium if BYU ends up in the Las Vegas Bowl. We'll see.

It was hard to come back to reality yesterday. I had one of those days where I cleaned and cleaned and nothing got any cleaner. I hate that! We took our car in last night to get the bumper replaced (did I mention Will got rear-ended?) so I don't have a car for a few days. Maybe I will finally tackle those cleaning projects I seem to put of over and over again. Like the laundry room, and the pantry, and the closets, and . . . the whole rest of the house.
