Today, Little Miss Chatterbox lost her voice. She has spoken only in whispers all day.{insert Hallelujah chorus here}
I tried to tell her that it was because she has been talking all day, every day since the minute she turned three years old, and she used up all of her words for the year already. She didn't buy it. Really, she just has a cold. A lingering cold that today claimed her voice box.
I remember when she was a little baby I would turn on the TV just to have some noise in the house. It was so quiet, and I wasn't used to it. I never dreamed there would come a day I would start looking for the mute button. Don't get me wrong - I love to hear her talk. She says the most random, interesting, cute things. But some days it's like my favorite song is on the radio, playing over and over and over again (at full volume) until I'm just ready to turn it off.
So thank you, Mother Nature, for the day of rest today.

Jacey is so beautiful, I love that picture. I'm at that stage where I want to hear Addison talk, we always wonder what her voice will be like.
